About TheKGL

TheKGL was started in early 2008 by Akirah with 2 divisions and a handful of clans participating. By July 2008 Karen, Arcademan and Blair Mayne had came onboard to create a 4 member management team with Akirah and the League was moved onto it's own dedicated XippY website were Season 3 was run as it's first main event.

Now after 9 Seasons we have THIS, our own dedicated website which we believe will take TheKGL on into the future in Online Gaming for many years to come.

As time has passed and the success of TheKGL way of doing things has increased, we have steadily grown attracting clans from all over the UK and indeed Europe. In a scene with so many places to play, we see ourselves as different from most all others as we listen to what our members want, make decisions based on what we honestly believe is in the best interests of our members and do our upmost to keep the fun of online gaming alive through our events and the way that are formulated and indeed ran.

Our goal is and always has been to provide friendly, yet competitive matches for our community in an atmosphere of equality and mutual respect. Too many event hosts and league allow the egos and cliques to batter down the fun aspect of the games we play. Here in TheKGL we the Admin Team and indeed our community itself look very poorly on those who seek to use gaming as a platform for abusive behaviour and put their ego/inadequacy complexes before the true purpose of Online Gaming. FUN!

With that said we do like a laugh and good banter so be prepared to get a friendly ribbing if you draw attention to yourself. Our established community are a great bunch of lads and lasses, will welcome all new members warmly, but be warned as they do tend to have a quirky sense of humour and will jump on any opportunity to take the mickey out of any situation they are presented with and expect the same to be applied to them.
