TheKGL needs YOU!

TheKGL has been running since 2008 and after moving to the new site and my personal life getting quite busy, we need a CSS admin to take over Thursday night events.

What will you as staff be expected to do?

  • The main part of your job will be help in IRC during event nights, help with previews and be one of the cogs in the wheel. 
  • Maintaining the site - as you can see current staff members make sure the rosters are up to date and simple maintenance to the site such as adding pages
  • Helping with events - we don't expect anyone to jump straight into running events so we will give you a bit of training with running events and then after a while you should be able to run one yourself!


What do we expect you to be?

  • 18+ Sorry to any under 18s but we need a level of maturity that we feel we can get from anyone over 18
  • Organisational skills - a fair bit of organising needs to be done so the more organised you are the better. After all we don't want down to run an event and then not turn up!
  • Punctual - a lot of the staff tasks require deadlines so you must be punctual in both meeting those deadlines and turning up when asked to.
  • Enthusiastic!! You need plenty of it, we want your input and enthusiasm to make KGL better.
  • Community minded. This isn't a staff role for any large league organisation so if you are looking for power then you're in the wrong place. We are a community minded site and that's how we will like to remain. We expect you to be doing this to help the community and not for personal gain.
