ZOWIE GEAR Tournament May
TheKGL are proud to announce the ZOWIE GEAR May Tournament. The Tournment will consist of 16 clans running over the course of four weeks. Matches will start at 8pm on Thursday 17th of May, with the following rounds being played out on Thursday 24th, 31st May.
The GROUP stages will be the first three weeks following onto knockouts for the final leg of the tournament which will be on 7th June, then the Final will be held the week after 14th June which will be a Bo3 veto.
The winning team will recieve ZOWIE SWIFT OEM which have been kindly donated by ZOWIE GEAR.

TheKGL Season 15 is announced!
Welcome back the the KGL Season spectacular, the second season of 2012. And once again, our ethos of providing matches for clans who wish to play in a competitive environment with a fun atmosphere for prizes, stays the same.

The amount of sign-ups will dictate the number of divisions. Prioirty will be given to teams who have played in TheKGL previously. In light of this, we have organsied a couple of events on the coming Sundays to prove your reliability and commitment to TheKGL. If you want to sign-up these events then follow the links below:

ZOWIE GEAR Knockouts
Finally Here ...
Hello all, I am happy to announce that from Thursday 26th the Knock stage will begin, I would like to thank all the teams that have participated in this tournament to win a set of ZOWIE SWIFT OEM's which have been kindly donated by ZOWIE GEAR.
Here is the plan, The knockouts will begin on the 26th at 20:00 for two rounds of the knockout and the Sunday of that week [29th] we will see the Final in a veto Bo3 game against the two prevailing teams.

Changes
Hello, many of you will have read my post in this thread. Having done a lot of thinking over the past few weeks to keep TheKGL going, I have decided that their are going to be some changes around TheKGL. There are not many people left from when we first started 4 years ago but I feel this is now the time to return to our roots and return to what TheKGL was founded for. Some of the changes are;
- We will no longer be posting events externally (for CS:S) on Cadred and the likes. Whilst posting externally has increased our numbers and some very good clans who have adhered to TheKGL standards have joined, unfortunately we have recieved a lot of clans with egos. As a result, there maybe fewer clans but in theory the standard of clans should be higher. (Standard defined as clans who are not knobs)
- We will be running fewer events but we hope the quality of these improve by providing small prizes much like we did when we first started off. Regular ZOWIE cups will be run every month along with the events on Sundays.
- The admin team and page has been culled slightly, We would like to thank those admins who have put a lot into KGL especially Kue who ran events for such a long period of time without fail.
- There will be some more focus on 1 vs 1 events such as FIFA 12 and Starcraft 2. Expect these events to pop up some time soon.
In order to anwser some questions that may pop up, I can confirm that we will be doing CS:GO on TheKGL and we have some plans afoot in relation to this with admins/sponsors.
We do require some new staff for CS:S and particularly those who are committed to playing CS:GO when it comes out (if you have beta access already then great). Please see this thread if you want to apply.
